How to clean your bike with a waxed chain
Because a waxed chain is completely dry, your entire drivetrain remains free of sticky residue, making your whole bike easy to clean.
You’ll only need: a garden hose, a bucket of soapy water, a sponge, a towel to clean the chain. You don’t need a degreaser.
Always start by removing the chain. In dry weather, re-wax when needed. In wet weather, re-wax after your ride to prevent rust. With the chain removed, wet your bike, clean it with soapy water, hose it down, and dry it with a towel.
Since there’s no oil on the drivetrain, you can use the same towel for everything. Convenient, isn’t it?
